GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour) is a girls group for grades 3-8, meeting Wednesdays, 7-9 pm at Holland Marsh Christian Reformed Church (18935 Dufferin St., Ansorveldt). GEMS runs September to April. The program consists of bible study, crafts, badge work, singing, devotions, socializing, and occasional outings. This year’s theme is Feed the Fire! Hot, cold, or lukewarm? Registration is $35 which includes a T-shirt, badge book, scarf, tote bag, and more. For more information on the organization please see www.gemsgc.org. June 26th – Splash Party for the Sunday School Children during the service @ BBC.
Weather permitting, we will be playing some water games outside. Kids, please come in clothes that can get wet and bring a towel. It’s going to be fun!
Note to Parents & Kids:
Children’s Ministry will be on hiatus this Summer beginning July 3rd. Miss Laura will have packets available each Sunday to keep the kiddies busy during the sermon time. Please note that Miss Laura is not continuing her role in the Fall. We want to thank her for providing wonderful programming for our children over the past several years. She has been a real blessing to this ministry!

Missionfest is coming! April 1 & 2 @ Global Kingdom Ministries, Scarborough
Are you creative, love God and want to get in touch with your inner child? Well children’s ministry may be a good place for you!
5 teachers/small group leaders are needed for the sunday morning children’s ministry team. These teachers will have the opportunity to lead a group of kids for 30 minutes where they will tell a bible story and help facilitate activities for the kids to interact with the story. There is only about 30 minutes worth of prep time required. Having consistent teachers is important for these kids. Each class will have a team of teachers who will rotate so that they are able to have more consistent teaching and build stronger relationships with the kids. These teachers will also need some class helpers and we are still in need of a few more. This ministry does not require much… but it can be very rewarding to watch how God moves in the kids and through the volunteers.

Swing your partner round & round… The Mills & Wilcox families invite you to a stomping fun Barn Dance on Sat., Aug. 21st, 7:30 pm @ Dorothy Ann’s (Hwy 27 & Beeton Rd area). Dancing starts at 7:30 pm.
