Life Lived in the Community of God Part 2 – Tim Walker Nov 15 Free Audio Message
So “sin happens”, we’re all human, when it comes to dealing with sin and forgiveness, we rather be on our own and not letting others in on it to help us find freedom. Unfortunately if we choose isolation we will undoubtedly make major mistakes that can be very painful. Follow with us as we walk this through together.
Life Lived in the Community of God – Tim Walker Nov 8 Free Audio Download
Community can be intentional or one of convenience when we walk with God and the body of Christ (church). In North America we are driven by being independent and not inclined to be interdependent – so when it comes to dealing with sin and forgiveness, we rather be on our own and not letting others in on it to help us find freedom. Unfortunately if we choose isolation we will undoubtedly make major mistakes that can be very painful.

Where’s The Power? Jodi Greenstreet, Crosstrainers (ctministries.ca) Oct 18
So often our spiritual talk far exceeds our walk. We often talk about the power of God to transform lives but live unchanged by that power. The heart of this message looks at what stops the flow of God’s power in and through our lives.

Two Lost Sons – Part 1 by Tim Walker Sept 27
Two Lost Sons – Part 1 by Tim Walker Oct 5
We often seem to get mixed messages about how God relates to us, today, Jesus ramps up the view of a God who desperately wants to have a relationship with us despite our brokenness (considering recently suicide is the #1 cause of death). The choice becomes whether we want to run to this God or not, but hopefully we all do, because his presence in our lives can be rather surprising.
How to Find God – Looking in all the right places Tim Walker Sept 20
synopsis: At times many people think God is far off and aloof to our world, would it not be a radical thought to find out that God does in fact lovingly pursues humanity. That is the incredible part of the story of the Incarnation (God becoming flesh – the whole Christmas story), he wanted to be a part of our world. And it seems it was a very difficult idea to grasp in Christs day and it seems to still boggle people today, a God who longs to be in relationship with us.
Humility by Nicole Forget Sept 6
synopsis: What is humility and being humble, free audio by Nicole Forget with her personal down to earth easy style of speaking, you’ll feel like you’ve just had a great talk with a friend.
Our values are shaped by our culture. The Kingdom of God has values that oppose the values in our culture. Today, we look at one value that Jesus wanted his followers to understand…humility. It’s all about number 1….but who is the number 1?

Great Expectations – Free Audio Message / Sermon – Tim Walker Aug 23rd
from the Joint service at BBC Main HQ -2 books referenced in the message U2’s Walk On and Jesus For President (see below’s book section):
synopsis: We live in a day when the last thing most people do is trust those in leadership, whats worse the church has been also infected by the same virus of a lack of trust for leaders. No matter, Jesus invites his followers and those desiring to be leaders within his kingdom to a higher and very different standard then what the world has to offer in leaders and followers. And by the way Jesus did not sugar coat the truth, he was crystal clear in how difficult it would be but rewarding all at the same time.
synopsis: Most people struggle with fear or intimidation and its never easy to deal with. The bible says Jesus suffered and endured everything we can possibly face, and man tried to intimidate him but he never gave into those fears. He had the means to be secure in his relationship with his Father and never waiverd in his calling or passion for people, even those who directly opposed him, he loved them right to the cross. Lets be encouraged by a good friend like Jesus wants to be with us today.
The Power of joyful living Aug 9 Keith Dorscht
synopsis: How to find Joy in your life
The Kingdom’s One and Only Entry Point Aug 2 Tim Walker
synopsis: Everyone is looking for a way to get into heaven, and Jesus makes it quite clear he is the only way to get there, You must choose first and enter into the relationship with humility, that means pride and self sufficiency gets a serious drop kick to the curb. Oh by the way, don’t go back to those two items, Jesus wants us to depend on him and him alone.
More Signs of a Good Shepherd July 26 Tim Walker
synopsis: So many people are looking for all kinds of ways to fill their spiritual vacuums, and so it gets filled with stuff that in the end does not breathe life into them or others. Only Jesus can fill the voids we all have and long for real truth and the meaning of life and beyond the grave. Again you must choose to enter the Gate of Jesus, so how’s it working for you?
The Good Shepherd July 19 Tim Walker
synopsis: Everyone wants to know and follow a good leader, but it seems in our cynical North American society we have tendency to be far more critical then willing to follow a leader. Jesus establishes the template of a “Good Leader” – as you look at him, you will be surprised, His kind of leading does go counter culture, the business world and would rarely get him in top executive of the year category. But do realize this, if he hadn’t done it his way, we would have no real way of living today.
God in Nature – Transformation – Jul 12 Greg Dale
synopsis: Seeing the power of God, His majesty and gentleness in nature, and the message of Himself
Jesus Prayer to Believers – Jun 21 – Greg Dale
synopsis: We all need protection, but Jesus prayed a prayer on our behalf that all his followers would be protected to keep the unity. How did He know that was always going to be a tough thing for us to keep.
My Faith Can Make Me See June 14 – Tim Walker
synopsis: You gotta have faith is a typical slogan we can here in crisises, sports clichés and etc, so what do you put your faith into? IF its self, you’ll be sadly disappointed, in people – they can disappoint too, but with Jesus, he can give you the ability to truly see if your dependent on him. Have you had a faith lift this week?
The Kingdom’s Impact May 24 – Tim Walker
synopsis: We all love to cheer for the under dog, and God loves to be the one who assists the underdog to rise up and beyond his or her issues or circumstances. Jesus illustrates that the smallest of objects or plans may be mocked by the world as being irrelevant, but in Gods economy and eyes, it can be the very thing to impact the world. So don’t minimize what you do for God, it can have an unbelievable impact and ripple affect. So toss your talents, time and gifts into the pool of life and stand back and watch how big God can make a ripple affect.
Characteristics for Living in the Kingdom May 17 – Tim Walker
synopsis: People want to see a difference between being religious and having a relationship with God. Jesus certainly expected to make a change to the way people were doing church, it meant that people and God would see some kind of evidence – it was not just smoke and mirrors, but practical and tangible. A smoking pot, candles and incense is no good unless it moves you to bring help to the hurting, or compassion for mankind. You may be a great smoking pot but you don’t give a rip about man, not good so says Jesus.
The Door Into the Kingdom of God – May 10 – Tim Walker
synopsis: Reality is, no one likes being told what to do, that’s why men will rarely stop at a gas station to get directions, they’d rather kill more time then humbling themselves and say can you help me.
Jesus often gave advice before others would ask, he has told us to fully get and enjoy His Kingdom it starts with repentance, don’t look at others or do the self comparisons, just humble yourself and admit you have issues (sins) and get his help (grace). If you do, your better for it.
And the Fire Keeps on Burning (Part 2) May 3 – Tim Walker
synopsis: We may remember the song, Signs signs , everywhere a sign, but how well do we read them. Many signs are to familiar and we miss there meaning or message. So do we see the signs of God around us? Or have we got so use to Him or not that we miss his presence to impact us or for us to join up with Him in a new adventure. The signs are there, to be a blessing or to feel the pain of a missed opportunity.
And the Fire Keeps on Burning – April 26 – Tim Walker
synopsis: If anyone says being a Christian (a follower of Jesus) is easy, they have not heard Jesus, who has told us to count the cost in following Him. It’s not for the faint of heart but for the faithful in heart.
Workin For the Man – Apr 19 – Tim Walker (How To Deal With Your/My Boss)
synopsis: Nobody has the perfect boss (rarely), except when we serve Jesus; He is the MAN! So He invites us to be His managers/servants in His Kingdom, and He has provided us with passions, talents & gifts as resources to serve and be the best we can be in the world we live in. So let’s work for Him, rather than “stick it to the Man” – by the way, that was already done to Him once before.
What, Me, Worry? … Mar 22 – Tim Walker
synopsis: What Me Worry! It seems worry can plague us all, but Jesus tells us we can fight that bad habit by dialing into his frequency of Kingdom living. Knowing that God looks after his kids can be a relief that our daily needs will be met, and when we are living for Him we banking in a system that need no government bail outs – isn’t that nice.
The Fear of Not Having Enough (& How to Deal with it) – Mar 22 – Tim Walker
synopsis: So Jesus goes for a key area in fear, will we have enough. The problem with depending on God is can we get enough of Him! Or do we need to really chase down the latest item at Costco or will I have enough in my stock portfolio, after this past year – don’t worry, you don’t have enough
How to Live Without Fear and Worry – Mar 15 – Tim Walker
synopsis: Amazing to find that Jesus has the ability to address one of our issues fear, and in light of the times we face, it’s a a very important topic. To not worry is easier said then done, but the greater issue is can you see the big God around you or the greater mess our world finds itself in – we do have a choice?

synopsis: Leadership is rarely perfect, but God expects leaders to live out what they know so as to help those who are following them, not to hinder or hurt them. Be assured God will hold leaders accountable so its best to be humble and dependent on Gods wisdom and Spirit.
“What is, therefore, our task today? Shall I answer: “Faith, hope, and love”? that sounds beautiful. But I would say – courage. No, even that is not challenging enough to be the whole truth. Our task today is recklessness. (for full quote click here)

Micah 5 – Jesus for Prime Minister Part 2: by Tim Walker Nov 16
synopsis: With a world of unpredictable-ness (take a look at the gas price today) what can we truly trust in? in the end we either trust in our selves, that can be selfish; trust in others and they will let us down, or God – trusting him is not easy, but he invites us to do so, despite what is screaming all around us, can you hear Him? Can you see Him?
Micah 6 -God on Trial or Us: by Tim Walker Nov 23rd
synopsis: In the movie Batman Begins, Bruce Wayne (aka Batman) says this, “It’s not who I am underneath but what I do that defines me!”, we can look like something , but only until I do and be, can I truly be known. synopsis (for both part 1 & 2): In a day and age when everyone wants to blame others for their issues, God is not so easily fooled by our clever tricks or comments. He calls a sin a sin, and we better deal with it. Funny thing is, we cant deal with it, only God can bail us out – so its your choice go to him for help, or sink on your own merits. Happy swimming!

Micah 7 Part 2 of Part 2 A Heavenly Perspective for our Earthly Good: Tim Walker Feb 1
synopsis: Staying connected to God allows us the opportunity to get the most out of life, that does not mean we are takers but givers of life. And the best way to do that is letting God and yourself stay connected, rarely does He move, its always us moving away from Him, and yet its always easy to get back to Him.
synopsis: the true character of a Christ follower is not marked by outward acts alone, but an inner life (heart) truly devoted to God & others: where have we individually missed the mark, has the church (in general) missed the mark?
