Getting good advice can sometimes be tricky. Who do you go too? Can they be fair and objective? Paul says he can be trusted to share some of his thoughts on the value of being single and choosing to not be married. You will have lots of opportunities to be used for the Kingdoms sake.
But Paul assumes that no matter if your married or single you will have a desire to serve the Lord – that certainly is a tension point of today’s believer – do we have time, talent, treasure and spiritual gifts to give to Him.
Maybe its time we need to take a look and see if we need to balance our lives out more, for His sake.
