Did your mother ever say to you (in exasperation) “What am I going to do with you?”… well so did the upper echelons back in ancient history.

There can be all kinds of reactions when people encounter Jesus, doubt, disbelief, mockery, confusion, and even just get rid of him. But today’s story takes us to see that Jesus was anything but welcomed, he was rebuffed and was to be condemned to die because he was the Son of God.
